Being older, I needed carry-on suitcase with good wheels which was light and strong.
This case is perfect in that respect.
I may glue on an outside pocket to carry airline tickets, passports and other items needed, easily accessible at check-in.

I love the way it looks and it is very lightweight. I wish it had:
1. Piggyback strap to attach another bag.
2. External pocket (essential for a carry-on, less for checked luggage)
3. A side handle to have a better grip when removing from the overhead bin.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the bar splits the space, reducing its capacity.

This is a great lightweight carry-on case. It does not have a zippered outside compartment, so you will want a small piece or purse for passports, airline tickets, boarding passes, and the like. We compared the XCase to the 20-inch Samsonite spinner Wingate which is more expensive, heavier, larger, holds no more, and doesn't meet all airline carry-on regulations. We prefer the XCase and, surprisingly, it is even better constructed than the Samsonite model.

I love my carry on suitcase. The hard shell is great and holds up to some pretty hard treatment. I love how light the luggage is and especially as it is easy to pull. The wheels are smooth and the handle sturdy. I love the bag and would recommend it for week end trips or the items you need for a carry on piece when traveling.

Only problem, and it is stated on prduct card, scratchs easy if it is checked. Once known, not an issue. Scratches do add character.
